Esteemed Educator Writes Past Life Regression Thriller about a Conservative Celebrity’s Death on Campus

By Dr. Ellenmorris Tiegerman, author of God Denied

For readers who are interested and/or curious about past lives, I would like to introduce myself, since I have just written and am now in the process of publishing my second book entitled, God Denied.  My first suggestion is that your curiosity about spirituality will be most helpful in a process that requires persistence and commitment.  The exploration into a past life is a journey that is both frustrating and enthralling.  So, you must give it the time that it requires.

I have arrived here through a long circuitous experience that started when I was a teenager many years ago.  I had a past life experience that “shook” and upset my family.  So, I never spoke about it.  Many years later, I was interested in writing a murder mystery about a Professor Morrys who, like myself, taught at a local university.  At the time, I was at an impasse in the story, and I decided to take a training course given my background and clinical experience with Dr. Brian Weiss at the Omni Center in Upstate, New York.  The topic that Dr. Weiss was discussing was of interest to me since it involved past life regression.  Dr. Weiss has written many books on past life theory and therapy, and I had just finished his first book entitled, Many Lives, Many Masters.  The course was intensive, and the group was large, consisting of therapists and trainers from all over the world.  I was so impressed and surprised by the past life regressions that took place during the week that I decided that the theme for my book should really be about a past life mystery entitled Past Lives Denied.  This first book set the stage for the characters and the theme about how past life regression can play a significant role in not only a personal journey but a healing process that takes place with each of the characters in the story.  The first book is about Professor Caitlyn Morrys, the heroine in a murder mystery on campus and how she uses her past life experience to solve the murder.  The second book, which was just finished and is ready for publication, is about Professor Ashford Connor, who deals with a terrible tragedy on campus.  And at this point, I will not say anything more about the story other than to highlight the significance and role of the past life process in Professor Connor’s life.

I have had the opportunity to write many academic and clinical textbooks while I was a professor at a university in the Departments of Communication Disorders and Psychology.  The process was research-based and factual but very different from writing a fictionalized novel.  With Past Lives Denied and now God Denied, I have used my personal experiences over the years to create the characters and the storyline.  So, there is a great deal of reality infused within the fiction.  Underneath all of this was my personal experience as a teenager that transformed my thinking about life in general and provided me with an opportunity to think beyond this life into eternity.  You have an opportunity to initiate a personal journey of self-exploration to search for something beyond this life.  It is not an easy process and may take many months or even many years to accomplish.  But there are many books, particularly Dr. Weiss’s books, that can provide a foundation for your journey.  I can only share with you the fact that it is worth the effort and that you will ultimately succeed, if you persist.  Past life regression provides you with the opportunity for self-healing and an awareness that will transform your thinking and your everyday existence.  I recommend that you start your journey with Dr. Weiss’s first book and you progress from there.

Finally, you will find that there is now more of an acceptance in the general public for ideas such as past life possibilities and discussions about the eternal soul in the mainstream press.  Most people will not have the same reaction that I had when I was a teenager.  So, you will not likely experience the criticism and concern that I received growing up.  Be curious.  Read two books just to start the process.  Dr. Weiss’s book, Many Lives, Many Masters and a book called Soul Survivor, by Bruce and Andrea Leininger with Ken Gross, which is a story about a little boy who has a past life memory.  Start with those two books and see what you’re feeling and whether you think this is worth exploring by investigating dreams, memories, areas of interest and special talents/abilities that you may have.  All of these things create a picture about a past life, and that should be your starting point.  Your journey will not be easy, as I’ve said, but it will be worthwhile and exciting because in the process, you will find out who you truly are in this life and who you were in your past life (lives).
