Thought 4 Today…Thought 4 LIFE!
On Time…
“ Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary. ”
-Steve Jobs
As I looked into my mirror one morning…as I do every morning…I happily looked into my eyes and had my wonderful conversation with mySelf!
You see… when I look into my mirror, I see the love of my Life! That’s not me being conceded! That’s me continuing to Fix My Reflection First! That’s me BEing The best version of mySelf… one day at a time!
On this particular morning… my reflection looking back at me posed the question…
“ At What age is one truly successful?”
That question was probably prompted by my celebrating my Birthday of 67 years old last month.
Nearly immediately, as I was still looking in my mirror, I received a notification on my phone.
I looked at my phone to see what that notification was… And found that at that precise moment a research study was sent to me that revealed that most women are their most successful in every area of their life in their 60s and 70s.
I asked… And I was answered! And… I was very pleased to learn that my success was just BEginning.
So… This is what is True for me right Now… In this moment in Time!
For me… For each of us… Our Truth is our Truth.
IT exists outside anyone else’s desires, opinions, and feelings.
When we Trust ourSelves… We honor our Truth… Although, at times, IT may conflict with the wishes and hopes of others… Even those for whom we deeply care.
We can’t guarantee that others will see things our way all the time… Acknowledge our feelings… Support our decisions… Or join in with us. However, we cannot let any of that stand in our way!
What we can do… Is to state in a loving and nonconfrontational manner…
“What is true for me right now is…”… Whatever that might be for you.
“What is true for me right now is that I AM too tired to talk with you.”
”What is true for me right now is that I’d like to spend some time alone.”
”What is true for me right now is that I need to have less chaos and less drama in my life.”
Today… I invite YOU to try out this powerful and purposeful way.
When we say it like that we tell ourSelves what our need is in this moment. We make it clear what our Truth is right now… Although it may not be true in the future.
Today… I invite YOU to treat Life as if IT were ice cream… And enjoy IT before IT melts!
BE The Source Within YOU…Now!
Have a Magnificent and Wonderful day… Everyday!
And…Just in case no one told You today…
I Love You and I BElieve in Your ability to Fix Your Reflection First…And Live Your Best Life Ever!??
Blessings!
